The new SiteMinder ASA (Application Server Agent) for Weblogic Server 9.2/10 has built-in the servlet filter. So there's no need for a WLS proxy web server with web agent anymore. It authenticates and writes smsession nicely.
Cool!
However, I believe the Forms FCC/X509 and other auth schemes still need to redirect to a standard web agent.
