With limited ref. resource, only use Taiwan Minan Language dictionary as reference and my limited written Chinese, the result is a bit of a rojak writing.. sorry

punsok - sampah/rubbish (spoken in many penang kampong and old generation)
Old generation like to name their children after bad sounding names to avoid evil spirits.
When old people sees a baby, they describe the baby as "khiap si", "pnai knua" "pni khang ko pni" "bak ciu seh nui" and doesn't praise it.

- cheng khau - real estate agent
- chan phua - 這閒屋lok ,chan , phua
- pao khang - clear whole property
- freehold - 一號厝
- leasehold - 二號厝
- gov land - 三號厝
time - tiam snia (在中國已經每人說）si kan (時間)
Melaka 福建話(唔是baba) 比penang 福建話參番仔話加少
但這無代表伊人話加純
因爲伊人有可能學唐人冊受唐人字e影響
kao in (marry or kahwin) 有可能是福建話， 古漢文有這個詞
just - kana 干焦
wok - tnia 鼎 (古漢文用 balu干焦存福建話用）
IDIOMS
欲去烏影 唔去吊鼎 bue khi o iann, ng khi tiao tnia
- （意思）漁民講e 意思是 欲出海就天烏烏欲落雨 莫去無lui開飯
（烏在福建話是黑）
天會落紅雨 大海會變大路 / 天會落紅雨 牛會穿低庫
to describe 不可能的事 或 吹牛
But my friend's famous idiom with opposite meaning sounds like this (mind the language)
